About Our Team

Double Up Softball, LLC is owned and operated by Alison Van Scyoc. Alison is a former Division 1 athlete at the University of Virginia where she was a team captain for three years. Alison was part of UVA's 2010 team that qualified for NCAA regionals and was ranked in the Top 25 among NCAA Division 1 softball. Alison is ranked in the top 5 all-time in stolen bases at the University of Virginia. As a coach, Alison is closing in on 200 wins at Shippensburg University and has qualified for conference tournament play in every season except for one. She is entering her 8th season as the head coach at Shippensburg University following her assistantship at Ship for the previous 3 seasons.
